In keeping with our fundamental philosophy of training and opportunities, FAST/Wizards Softball is excited to announce the opening of a new year round indoor softball training facility in Toledo!

  Our new facility features over 12,000 sq. ft. and 28' high ceilings with an infield, batting/pitching tunnels (with machines) and a well stocked retail shop.

  The facility will be available for Wizard teams and players as well as the general public.  Regardless of weather or time, NW Ohio and SE Michigan players now have a chance to learn and play in a warm, dry, first class environment.

  FAST/Wizards will offer private and group instruction in camps, clinics, hitting and pitching lessons with some of the area's top softball coaches as well as prominent nationally recognized instructors.

The Board of Directors of SGS/Magic and the FAST/Wizards are pleased to announce we will be working in conjunction with each other to help promote softball in NW Ohio/SE Michigan

In an effort to better serve the girls fastpitch softball community we intend to work cooperatively to put programs in place that will benefit and improve the skills of all softball players in NW Ohio and SE Michigan.

SGS will:

Ø      Operate our Magic Softball tournament program

Ø      Operate our Summer League for all levels of 10u to 18u teams

Ø      Run our SGS Tournaments

Ø      Sponsor and run USSSA World Tournaments when possible

Ø      Introduce a tournament caliber level Spring Program

Ø      Introduce a tournament caliber level Fall Program

FAST will:

Ø      Operate our Wizards Softball tournament program

Ø      Operate our Fall Ball Program

Ø      Operate our Spring Ball Program

Ø      Run our FAST Tournaments.

Ø      Run coaching and players clinics throughout the year to develop quality      coaches and players.

Members of both organizations have a long history of serving softball players and intend to continue that tradition. Thank you for the opportunity to improve the level of competitive girls fast pitch softball in our area.

Wizards' is concerned about player safety...

Due to the increased risks of serious injuries to 1st, 3rd and pitchers, the Wizards are mandating face guards for WIZARD PLAYERS ONLY in these positions at the 10U and 12U age divisions.  Older age divisions are encouraged to wear them and Wizards parents must sign a waiver to have their daughter not be required to wear one.
