In keeping with our fundamental philosophy of training and opportunities, FAST/Wizards Softball is excited to announce the opening of a new year round indoor softball training facility in Toledo!

Our new facility features over 12,000 sq. ft. and 28' high ceilings with an infield, batting/pitching tunnels (with machines) and a well stocked retail shop.

The facility will be available for Wizard teams and players as well as the general public.  Regardless of weather or time, NW Ohio and SE Michigan players now have a chance to learn and play in a warm, dry, first class environment.

FAST/Wizards will offer private and group instruction in camps, clinics, hitting and pitching lessons with some of the area's top softball coaches as well as prominent nationally recognized instructors.

Our anticipated Grand Opening Date for the new softball arena is August of 2008.  If you'd like to become involved in this exciting venture, contact our Director, Martin Drain at 419-343-4716 or email fast2home@yahoo.com.

The fundamental premise of the Wizards Travel Softball Program is to provide opportunities for girls to improve their skills by playing at a higher level of competition.  We believe that every girl should receive the same opportunities and we strive to provide those opportunities whenever possible.

One of the ways we try to include many girls is to keep our fees as low as possible.  We don't include sweatshirts, tee shirts, helmets or equipment bags in our player's fees.  We don't feel that parents should have to pay for these items if they don't want them, however we do offer them to be purchased separately if they so desire.

We offer practices throughout the winter months for teams and individual players.  We also hold weekly coaches meetings to assist our coaches in learning more about the coaching aspect of the game.  This "think tank" of softball coaches is proving to be a tremendous asset to many people in our organization.  We're extremely proud of the caliber of our Wizard coaches and the many years of knowledge and experience that they can share with our players and fellow coaches.  Many of our Wizard coaches have also attended training sessions with Leon Woods to learn the Right View Pro hitting system.  We've recently added this program to further educate the Wizard coaching staff.

If you have any questions or comments about our programs, please contact League Director Martin Drain at 419-343-4716 or email at fast2home@yahoo.com.

2009 Wizard Team Tryouts

Tryouts for 2009 Wizard Travel Teams will be held the First weekend in August 2008.

Check back here for more information as the date draws near.

If you are still looking for a 2008 travel team please contact Martin Drain at 419-343-4716 or fast2home@yahoo.com.

Wizards' are concerned about player safety...

Due to the increased risks of serious injuries to 1st, 3rd and pitchers, the Wizards are mandating face guards for these positions at the 10U and 12U age divisions.  Older age divisions are encouraged to wear them and parents must sign a waiver to have their daughter not be required to wear one.

We have ordered these face guards at a reduced price and will pass this savings on to our players. For comments or more information please contact Director Martin Drain at fast2home@yahoo.com
