In keeping with our fundamental philosophy of training and opportunities, FAST/Wizards Softball is excited to announce the opening of a new year round indoor softball training facility in Toledo!

Our new facility features over 12,000 sq. ft. and 28' high ceilings with an infield, batting/pitching tunnels (with machines) and a well stocked retail shop.

The facility will be available for Wizard teams and players as well as the general public.  Regardless of weather or time, NW Ohio and SE Michigan players now have a chance to learn and play in a warm, dry, first class environment.

FAST/Wizards will offer private and group instruction in camps, clinics, hitting and pitching lessons with some of the area's top softball coaches as well as prominent nationally recognized instructors.

If you'd like to become involved in this exciting venture, contact our Director, Martin Drain at 419-343-4716 or email fast2home@yahoo.com.

The fundamental premise of the Wizards Travel Softball Program is to provide opportunities for girls to improve their skills by playing at a higher level of competition.  We believe that every girl should receive the same opportunities and we strive to provide those opportunities whenever possible.

One of the ways we try to include many girls is to keep our fees as low as possible.  We don't include sweatshirts, tee shirts, helmets or equipment bags in our player's fees.  We don't feel that parents should have to pay for these items if they don't want them, however we do offer them to be purchased separately if they so desire.

We offer practices throughout the winter months for teams and individual players at our indoor practice facility in Holland, Ohio.  Check out the Wizard World page for more information on the indoor facility. We also hold weekly coaches meetings to assist our coaches in learning more about the coaching aspect of the game.  This "think tank" of softball coaches is proving to be a tremendous asset to many people in our organization.  We're extremely proud of the caliber of our Wizard coaches and the many years of knowledge and experience that they can share with our players and fellow coaches.  Many of our Wizard coaches have also become Certified Right View Pro Hitting Instructors with training by Leon Woods.

If you have any questions or comments about our programs, please contact League Director Martin Drain at 419-343-4716 or email at fast2home@yahoo.com.

WIZARD TEAM FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

We've put together several opportunities for teams and individuals to raise funds to help offset their players fees, uniforms, travel expenses, etc.

KROGER CARE FUNDRAISER - This is an awesome program that costs nothing out of pocket.  Simply obtain the Kroger/Wizards bar code from a player or board member or download it at this link, take the bar code to your local Kroger and present it with your Kroger card.  This will automatically link your Kroger purchases with our Fundraiser account.  A portion of the sales will come back to Wizards and 1/2 of that amount will be credited to that Wizard players account.

COUPON BOOKS - We offer a Coupon Book fundraiser with Save Around Toledo books for our players to earn money to offset their fees.  This will be offered in the fall to all players.

BINGO - FAST Wizards has recently been licensed to conduct Bingo in the state of Ohio.  We'll be starting operations in September 2010 with opportunities for teams to raise funds through the Bingo program to help offset fees and expenses.

For more information on any of our fundraising programs contact Martin at fast2home@yahoo.com or Karen at k.schnitkey@yahoo.com.
