2009 FAST SOFTBALL CLINICS AND PRACTICE

GENERAL SKILLS CLINICS

FAST Softball provides general defensive skills and hitting clinics at Owens College on Sunday afternoons through the winter.  These clinics are open to all softball players regardless of team or program affiliation. 

Fielding drills will include instruction and practice opportunities in throwing, catching, grounders, fly balls and base running.  Also hitting instruction and practices with several stations.   Players will be grouped by age/ability and will be placed in groups accordingly.  Instruction provided by Wizard travel ball coaches along with local high school and college coaches on occasion. Space is limited – sign up early!

This year we're offering 3 sessions at Owens College. All sessions will meet for 6 Sundays. The cost for each 6 week session is $70 and will include a free tee shirt.

CATCHING INSTRUCTION

From South of Perrysburg, Take I-75 to State Route 795 which is the first exit past Perrysburg exit 195...... turn right on State Route 795 to Oregon Road.... turn left on Oregon Road and go to the second traffic light....  Turn right at the light which is Biniker Drive and circle around to the left in front of the first building, which is the Library.... go to the parking lot and turn right and park about half way down near the sign that reads "SHAC"  Student Health and Activity Center.  Go in the door and turn left and proceed all the way down to the last gym on the left.

From the North of Perrysburg, take I-75 to Wales Road, turn left on Wales, right on Oregon Road, left on Biniker Drive and take an immediate left in front of the library to the North Parking lot.. park halfway down near the SHAC sign and enter building... go inside the door and to the left and proceed to the last gym on the left.

RIGHTVIEW PRO HITTING INSTRUCTION

FAST has initiated a program to increase the number of quality hitting instructors in our area.  Wizard coaches Steve Hegedus, Mark Dunsmoor, and Jeff Eisenbrandt have recently become certified Right View Pro instructors through Leon Woods.
